Cash Flow (quick ratio) – Do I have enough money coming in to pay my bills?
We heard from customers that you need a drop dead simple and effective way to gauge how your business is doing on a regular basis. By seeing your performance in three key areas (Profit, Sales, and Cash Flow), we hope you will find actionable insights you can use to more effectively run and improve your business – if not validate the great job you’re already doing!

Thanks for the new features. Net Profit Margin, Sales Growth, and Cash Flow are needed for the reasons that you mentioned. If my sales slow down I need to know fast how much money I have to pay up coming bills.

Tax Pro,
Thanks for your comments! Are there any other metrics you would find useful that we could possibly add to the Scorecard?

I was wondering if there was a way to add a feature that allows you to print an updated invoice that INCLUDES any payments that have been made on it. The “statements” do not really do what we need, and the receipts do not print out what we need them to show. We need something that shows the invoice and the payment applied to it to give to our customers, that way they know the remaining balance of what they are paying. We use the custom blocks as well, but they have no configuration to auto fill. If there is something that I ma missing, Please direct me in the correct place.

Hi Rebecca,
Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a way to show applied payments on an invoice in QuickBooks Online. Statements are the best solution we have for giving customers their current balances. I realize statements may not be ideal in all cases, but I’d recommend contacting QuickBooks Online Support to see if they have some suggestions to make statements work better for you: http://support.qbo.intuit.com/support.cfm
I have forwarded your feedback on to our product team to make sure your request is considered for a future update to QuickBooks Online. Thanks!
